Meet Ally
My passion for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, everyone assumed I would become a veterinarian because I was always surrounded by animals. Growing up, I cared for dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, rats, mice, lizards, and snakes—if it had four legs, scales, or fur, I loved it.
I began working as a kennel technician at an animal hospital during my senior year of high school. I quickly advanced into the treatment department, where I spent the next 10 years as a veterinary technician. During that time, I gained extensive experience with animal health while also seeing firsthand how common behavioral challenges affected both pets and their families. Too often, I watched owners struggle to manage these issues, with medication being one of the few options available.
My perspective changed when I faced those same challenges with my own dog. I had raised her from six weeks old, but due to being inbred, she developed severe behavioral issues, including reactivity. By the time she was four years old, she had been prescribed Prozac. While medication helped in some ways, I felt like I had lost a part of the dog I knew and loved. I realized there had to be another way.
Around that time, the animal hospital where I worked partnered with a local dog training company. One day, they offered free training sessions for the staff, and I eagerly signed up. Those classes completely changed my outlook. After the complimentary sessions ended, I continued training with the instructor, attending every group class she offered for the next two years.
Eventually, I joined her team as a professional dog trainer. Working alongside talented mentors gave me an incredible education—not only in dog training, but also in communication, coaching owners, and building a successful business. I will always be grateful for everything I learned during that chapter of my career.
After leaving the company, Irán and I made the decision to build something of our own. We founded our dog training business with one goal: to help more families build better relationships with their dogs and keep more dogs in loving homes.
Today, I have over five years of professional dog training experience and have worked with more than 150 dogs and their owners. My background as a veterinary technician, combined with my experience as a trainer, allows me to approach every dog with compassion, knowledge, and a commitment to finding solutions that strengthen the bond between dogs and the people who love them.
Meet Irán
Getting my first dog changed the course of my life. As a first-time dog owner, I quickly realized I needed professional help to better understand and train him. My family had never been comfortable with dogs living inside the home, so everything about dog ownership was new to me.
After meeting with a professional trainer, I knew I wanted my dog to have the same level of obedience and confidence as his. After just a few handling sessions, I progressed quickly, and the trainer was impressed with how naturally I connected with my dog and how fast I was able to teach him new skills.
He eventually invited me to join his dog training company. At the time, I had never imagined dog training could become a career, but I decided to give it a chance. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made, and I've never looked back.
Since then, I have professionally trained more than 300 dogs, with a primary focus on aggression and severe behavioral challenges. My passion is working with dogs that are at risk of being rehomed or euthanized because of their behavior. Helping these dogs gain the skills they need to stay with their families is the most rewarding part of what I do.
Every dog deserves the opportunity to succeed, and I am committed to helping owners build the knowledge, confidence, and relationship needed to create lasting results.
