Transforming Dogs. Empowering Owners.

We believe every dog deserves training that is clear, fair, and tailored to their individual needs. Our balanced training approach combines positive reinforcement with appropriate corrections, repetition, and consistency to help dogs clearly understand what's expected of them. We thoughtfully incorporate training tools when needed, using them as communication aids—not shortcuts—to create reliable, lasting results.

We work with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, from puppies learning basic obedience to dogs with serious behavioral challenges. Aggression, reactivity, leash pulling, resource guarding, and dogs with bite histories are some of our specialties. Our only limitations are cases where a dog's health or advanced age would make training unsafe or inappropriate.

An Overview of our programs:

  • Puppy training

Perfect for puppies who need a strong start in life. This program focuses on crate and potty training, confidence building, proper socialization, leash manners, and teaching essential obedience commands to set your puppy up for lifelong success.

  • Foundations Program

A great introduction to training for dogs of any age. This program covers loose leash walking, recall, settling, appropriate socialization, and building a solid relationship between you and your dog.

  • Basic Obedience

This program teaches reliable obedience both on and off leash in real-life environments. Dogs learn essential commands, boundary training, impulse control, and improved communication with their owner.

  • Board & Train Program

An immersive training experience where your dog stays with us for 2–8 weeks while receiving daily professional training. The program includes obedience (on and off leash), crate training, socialization, field trips, and owner handling sessions to ensure a successful transition home.

  • Behavior Rehabilitation

Designed for dogs struggling with aggression, severe reactivity, fear-based behaviors, or bite history. This intensive program focuses on changing unwanted behaviors, improving confidence, and teaching owners how to safely manage and maintain progress.

  • Retrieval Training

Teach your dog to reliably retrieve objects, bring them back, and release them on command. This specialty program is ideal for sport, working dogs, or owners looking to improve advanced obedience skills.

  • Utility Training

A fun confidence-building program that introduces dogs to new obstacles and challenges. Utility training improves body awareness, problem-solving skills, trust, and strengthens the bond between dog and handler.

  • Fostering

Occasionally, the GoldenK9 Team fosters dogs in need, providing structure, training, and rehabilitation to help them become successful companions. Our goal is to place each dog in a loving home, and we continue to support new owners with guidance and training long after adoption.

Client Highlights

When I got Kobe, I knew I was taking on a big personality, but I never anticipated just how stubborn and challenging he could be. After going through multiple trainers, I can confidently say that Ally has been the best by far. From the very beginning, Ally took the time to truly assess Kobe and understand what he needed rather than simply trying to train him with a one-size-fits-all approach. She not only worked with Kobe, but she taught me how to better understand him, communicate with him, and be the handler he needed me to be. Kobe was extremely reactive toward other dogs and children, and there were times when I felt like enjoying certain things together was almost impossible. With Ally’s guidance and consistency, we have made such an incredible transformation. Kobe can now be around other dogs, feel comfortable around children, and most importantly, disengage when something triggers or bothers him instead of immediately reacting. Ally has completely changed my relationship with Kobe. Training is no longer just about correcting behaviors; it has helped us build trust, confidence, and a better understanding of each other. I can genuinely enjoy more experiences with Kobe because I understand him better and know how to help him through situations that once felt overwhelming.

I’m so grateful for everything Ally has done for Kobe and for me. She has truly been a life changer for our relationship, and I couldn’t recommend her enough!”
