Welcome to Golden K9 Dog Training. By using this website, contacting Golden K9 Dog Training, or booking or purchasing our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Services
Golden K9 Dog Training provides professional dog training services, including private training, board and train programs, puppy training, obedience training, behavior modification, retrieval training, and other services described on our website.
Training programs, session frequency, duration, and pricing may vary depending on the dog's individual needs and the services selected.
2. Training Results
Every dog is different, and training results depend on many factors, including the dog's temperament, history, environment, consistency, and the owner's participation.
Golden K9 Dog Training does not guarantee a specific behavioral outcome or result from any training program.
Clients understand that continued practice and consistency outside of training sessions are an important part of maintaining and progressing training.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their dog, including any known behavioral concerns, bite history, medical conditions, medications, allergies, or other information that may affect training or safety.
Clients agree to follow training instructions provided by Golden K9 Dog Training and to communicate any changes in their dog's behavior, health, or circumstances.
Failure to disclose relevant information may result in modification, suspension, or termination of services.
4. Health and Vaccinations
Clients are responsible for ensuring that their dogs are appropriately vaccinated and healthy enough to participate in training.
Golden K9 Dog Training reserves the right to postpone or decline services if a dog appears ill, has a contagious condition, or presents a health or safety concern.
Clients should consult their veterinarian regarding any medical concerns before beginning a training program.
5. Behavioral and Safety Concerns
Dogs with aggression, reactivity, bite histories, or other significant behavioral concerns may require additional evaluation or specialized training.
Golden K9 Dog Training reserves the right to determine whether a particular training environment or program is appropriate for a dog based on safety and professional judgment.
If a dog's behavior presents an unreasonable safety risk, services may be modified, postponed, or discontinued.
6. Payments
Payment terms and pricing will be communicated to the client before services begin.
Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, payment is due according to the payment schedule provided by Golden K9 Dog Training.
A deposit or payment may be required to reserve training dates or services.
All payments are subject to the cancellation and refund policies provided at the time of booking.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Clients are expected to provide reasonable notice when canceling or rescheduling a training session.
Late cancellations, missed appointments, or repeated rescheduling may result in loss of the scheduled session or additional fees, depending on the applicable service agreement.
Specific cancellation policies may vary by program and will be communicated to the client before booking.
8. Board & Train Services
For board and train services, clients agree to provide accurate information regarding their dog's health, behavior, medications, feeding schedule, and other relevant care requirements.
Golden K9 Dog Training will use reasonable care while the dog is in its custody. However, dogs are animals and certain risks, including injury, illness, escape, or unexpected behavioral incidents, can occur despite reasonable precautions.
Any additional veterinary or emergency expenses resulting from an illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstance may be the responsibility of the dog's owner, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
9. Emergency Veterinary Care
In the event of an emergency involving a client's dog while in the care of Golden K9 Dog Training, Golden K9 Dog Training may seek veterinary care when reasonably necessary to protect the dog's health or safety.
The client authorizes Golden K9 Dog Training to seek emergency veterinary treatment when the client cannot be reached in a timely manner.
The owner remains responsible for veterinary expenses unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
10. Liability
Clients understand that working with dogs involves inherent risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches, injuries, escapes, property damage, and interactions with other animals or people.
Golden K9 Dog Training will take reasonable precautions to provide a safe training environment. However, Golden K9 Dog Training cannot eliminate all risks associated with dog training and handling.
Clients are responsible for following safety instructions and disclosing known behavioral concerns.
